Joining a Restore small group can be a wonderful way to feel supported as one learns to work through the emotions and effects of a previous abortion. Recently, three women shared their experiences of how being in a Restore small group has made a lasting impact in their lives.
“Before the Restore group, I felt lost, unwanted, and broken. After the group experience, I now feel loved and on the path to true forgiveness from myself and God. I never would have thought that would happen to me!”
— Amy, Age 31
“I disconnected from the abortion. I had to. How else would I choose this? I needed the spiritual torture to end. When I reconnected, I was in panic all the time with anxiety attacks. Restore helped to rebuild me. To find, believe in, and eventually experience hope once again. My hope is now turning into true desires. I would have been the last to say, but hope, life, and release truly can be restored.”
–Biss, Age 37
“My feelings about the Restore program are that it is wonderful. It is so helpful to get help in a non-judgmental group where other people have experienced the same thing. If it wasn’t for this group, I do not think I would be where I am today in my healing process.”
